Jerry Rickman recently retired as senior partner of Hamilton chartered accountancy firm Beattie Rickman, now PricewaterhouseCoopers.
However he has continued his association with the company and is currently working as a PricewaterhouseCoopers consultant.
The Rickman family has owned a property at Kinloch, on the banks of Lake Taupo, for a number of years and enjoys the beauty of the scenery, the clarity of the water and the recreational opportunities offered by the lake.
As a result, Jerry has a strong personal commitment to protecting Lake Taupo's water quality, and this motivated him to stand for the Lake Taupo Protection Trust.
